The Miami football team faces an important developmental year at quarterback entering the 2023 season. Tyler Van Dyke enters the 2023 season with his third offensive coordinator in four seasons at Miami. Jacurri Brown earned valuable experience as a true freshman in 2022. Miami signed three-star QB Emory Williams.
Van Dyke completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 2,931 yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions and a 160.1 passer rating during his 2021 breakout season. Van Dyke was named the ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year following the 2021 season.
