49ers legend Steve Young knows the only thing more important than backing the red and gold is ripping on the Dallas Cowboys.
Young, alongside fellow Niners great Jerry Rice, is slated to compete in the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament at Lake Tahoe this weekend and shared his outlook for this upcoming season with the San Francisco Chronicle on Thursday. (The Chronicle and SFGATE are both owned by Hearst but have separate newsrooms.)
More specifically, he praised head coach Kyle Shanahan and talked trash about the Cowboys’ offense.
“The 49ers have a head coach who is as innovative as anybody in the league, at a time when the Cowboys last year are running 2015 plays and don’t have a chance,” Young said.
